TSC Announces Mandatory Teaching Hours for School Administrators

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has set teaching workloads for principals, deputy principals, and senior masters in senior schools based on the number of classes. In schools with 1-6 classes, principals must teach 15 lessons per week, deputy principals 24, and senior masters 27. For 7-12 classes, the loads are 12, 18, and 24 lessons respectively. In schools with 13 or more classes, principals teach 10 lessons, deputy principals 15, and senior masters 24. This confirms administrators remain active in classroom instruction, countering a viral rumor of exemption.
