FG vows to crush kidnappers, rescue abducted pupils in Oyo, Borno

The Federal Government launched a renewed offensive against terrorism and kidnapping, vowing to spare no effort to rescue abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo and Borno states. President Bola Tinubu ordered a specialized rescue team deployment and approved the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar challenged the administration to overhaul Nigeria's counter-terrorism framework. Information Minister Mohammed Idris assured that security and intelligence agencies are mobilized to free the captives.
