Man killed in great white shark attack in western Australia

A 38-year-old man has died after being attacked by a great white shark near Rottnest Island, west of Perth, Australia. The attack occurred around 10 AM local time, and despite the efforts of rescuers, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The shark measured four meters, marking the first fatal attack in the region since last March.
