UK-based Nigerian who tried to rape drunk woman jailed five years, to be deported

UK-based Nigerian Qudus Ajeyemi, 27, was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for attempted rape and sexual assault of a drunk woman in Hull. The attack occurred in early 2023 after the victim went to his house. He was convicted after a six-day trial. He will be deported to Nigeria after serving his sentence and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
