A former Air Canada pilot, Geoffrey Wall, 59, has been arrested for commanding more than 900 flights without an airline transport pilot license between 2009 and 2025. He held a commercial pilot license but not the highest level required for commercial aircraft. Authorities charged him with fraud, uttering forged documents, and other counts. Police said public trust was shaken, but Air Canada stated passenger safety was not compromised.
