Naivasha Court Orders Extradition of U.S.-Based Kenyan Couple Over Alleged Plot to Kill Five Relatives

A Naivasha court ordered the arrest and extradition of a Kenyan couple living in the U.S., accused of conspiring to murder five of their own family members. They are charged alongside a 73-year-old co-accused who faces five counts of conspiracy to murder, including a plot against the family matriarch. The case involves a prime parcel of land in Molo, and a fee of Ksh3.1 million was allegedly agreed upon to pay hitmen. Chief Magistrate Abdulqadir Ramathan declined a 45-day stay request and directed the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to work with U.S. authorities to facilitate extradition.
