About thirty Congolese doctors without work permits in Kenya for five months

About thirty Congolese doctors working in Kenya have been without work permits for nearly five months due to the Kenyan Ministry of Health's failure to renew their licenses. Dr. Georges Maloba, the president of the collective, stated that this measure was supposed to apply only to foreign doctors from non-East African Community member countries, of which the DRC is a member. The doctors are calling for urgent intervention from diplomatic authorities to prevent a deterioration of their living and working conditions.
