USA: Expulsion of 355 Africans, including one Beninese and 14 Ivorians

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced on June 3, 2026, the expulsion of 355 West and Central African nationals, including 14 Ivorians and one Beninese. The list includes 110 Nigerians, 94 Liberians, 30 Ghanaians, 19 Senegalese, 15 Cameroonians, and others, for offenses ranging from fraud to violent crimes. The operation uses Ghana as a logistics hub. This wave is part of a broader US migration strategy, with over 440,000 expulsions recorded in 2025.
