Senegal's money supply reached 11,568.4 billion FCFA in December 2025, up 13.3% year-on-year, according to the Directorate General of the Financial Sector (DGSF). Transferable deposits rose 9.4%, currency circulation 8.2%, and other deposits 3%. Net foreign assets stood at 2,597.2 billion FCFA, up 15.2% driven by the BCEAO's net foreign position (+41.2%), while commercial banks' net foreign assets fell 63.2%. Domestic claims increased from 10,952 to 11,454.7 billion FCFA.
