Army: 2,000 participants expected for the 2026 Olympics

The second edition of the Army Olympics in Côte d'Ivoire will take place around the new Akouedo camp with over 2,000 participants expected. Organized by Lieutenant-Colonel Sama Emmanuel, the competition aims to promote Army-Nation integration and includes innovations such as increased participation of paramilitary forces and civilians. Endurance, strength, and obstacle course events will test participants' abilities while strengthening cohesion around the military institution.
