Washington pumps another USD 38 million into Ebola response efforts in DR Congo, Uganda and South Sudan

The United States is adding $38 million to its Ebola response, bringing direct funding to over $200 million. This is in addition to $350 million already allocated to DR Congo, South Sudan, and Uganda through the UN. Funds support contact tracing, border screening, and community education. Partners like IOM and UNICEF provide equipment and improve surveillance at airports and health facilities.
