DRC chairs UN Security Council debate on sexual violence

The Prime Minister of the DRC, Judith Suminwa Tuluka, presided over a high-level public debate of the UN Security Council on July 8, 2026, focusing on conflict-related sexual violence. The debate, themed 'Honoring the promise of international law to survivors of conflict-related sexual violence,' brought together member states around the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
