Roads: Mintp classifies 57 projects at high risk of non-completion by 2026

The 2026 road program may not meet its objectives, with only 30 of the 155 planned projects completed by July 28. The Mintp estimates that 40 more could be delivered by the end of December, bringing the total to 70 projects, or 45.2% of the annual programming. Among these projects, 57 are at high risk of non-completion due to constraints such as payment delays and incomplete contracting procedures.

Nigeria’s GDP grows 4.4% in Q2 2026 — NBS

Nigeria's economy grew by 4.4 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, up from 4.2 percent recorded in the same period of 2025, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
