Wave of resignations: What is happening at the Ministry of Higher Education of Boubacar Camara?

Five directors of the Ministry of Higher Education, including Abdoul Aziz Diouf and Mame Penda Ba, resigned collectively, citing deep disagreements with Minister Boubacar Camara over key projects such as the Espoir-Jeunes program (123 billion FCFA) and 'One student, one computer' (6 billion FCFA per year). The resignees denounce a different vision of public policies, particularly concerning the construction of eight ISEPs and the overhaul of the computer program. They believe the Espoir-Jeunes project, designed to provide professional higher education, is now threatened by new choices.
