Floods and Evictions in Abidjan: ICON Denounces Lack of Anticipation and 'Brutal' Method

The party Intégrité et Conscience Nationale (ICON) criticizes the government's management of floods and eviction operations in Abidjan. In a statement, its president Yves Mayobo denounces the lack of anticipation of torrential rains and calls 'brutal' the destruction of the Siporex market and neighborhoods without prior relocation. He calls for dialogue and support measures for affected populations.
