Yaoundé hosts from June 4 to 5, 2026, the conference and annual meeting of the Community of African Banking Supervisors (CSBA) under the theme “strengthening prudential cooperation and financial stability in Africa.” The continent’s banking regulators address risks from financial innovation, digital services, and new financial instruments. Yvon Sana Bangui, President of the Central African Banking Commission (Cobac), emphasizes the need to strengthen cooperation and regulatory convergence. Founded on January 10, 2013 in Algiers, the CSBA is the technical body of the Association of African Central Banks.
