Domestic Gas: Tradex Surpasses SCTM in a Market Up 6.2% by End of July 2026

In the first seven months of 2026, 132,902 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) were consumed in Cameroon, reflecting a 6.2% increase compared to 2025. Tradex leads the market with 18,772 tons, accounting for 14.12%, followed by SCTM with 17,692 tons (13.31%). TotalEnergies and OLA Energy follow with 15,575 tons and 11,763 tons, respectively. SCTM is facing supply difficulties, prompting discussions with its creditors.
