Benin: See the Appointments Announced on November 4, 2026 (Council of Ministers)

Benin’s Council of Ministers announced numerous appointments to public institutions, government agencies and ministries on November 4, 2026. Damien Mama was named permanent secretary of the National Steering Committee for Territorial Development Poles, while Lieutenant General Candide Fructueux Gbaguidi became permanent secretary of the National Defense and Security Council. Marc-André Loko, Farell Folly and Aristide Adjinacou will lead public agencies responsible for identification, cybersecurity and digital systems, respectively. The appointments also include Thierry S. Bidouzo as secretary-general of the Supreme Court and new ambassadors to Niger and Russia.
