CGECI Academy 2026: Human Capital at the Heart of Africa’s Economic Ambitions

The 14th CGECI Academy, which opened on October 29, 2026, concluded on October 30 at the Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire after two days focused on human capital under the theme “Human Capital, a Strategic Lever for Africa.” Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé urged businesses to invest in skills and young people, while CGECI president Ahmed Cissé stressed the potential of African talent and announced that the next edition will take place in Abidjan in late October 2027. The event also highlighted a partnership with the African Development Bank, formalized through a letter of intent to strengthen financing and growth for African businesses. AfDB Vice President Dr Abdul Kamara said the collaboration aims to improve companies’ access to finance and technical assistance.
