Cyber Africa Forum 2026: After Abidjan, Africa’s digital gathering moves to Cotonou

Founded in 2020 by Ivorian entrepreneur Franck Kié, the Cyber Africa Forum will hold its sixth edition on November 16–17, 2026, at the Sofitel Cotonou Marina Hotel & Spa in Benin. Organized by Kaydan Group with support from Beninese ministries, the event will bring together more than 1,500 public- and private-sector decision-makers under the theme “Building Tomorrow’s Digital Trust.” Discussions will focus on cybersecurity, data protection, artificial intelligence, and technology investment. Figures cited by the forum say AI is involved in 55% of reported cybercrimes in Africa, while reported losses rose from $192 million in 2024 to $484 million in 2025.
