APC group insists Karimi won Kogi West senatorial primary

The WWT grassroots mobilisation programme in Kogi State says Senator Sunday Steve Karimi remains the APC candidate for Kogi West in the 2027 general elections, despite a Federal High Court ruling nullifying his candidacy. Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Appointed Commonwealth CMAG Vice-Chair

Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has been appointed vice-chair of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG). The appointment was announced at a meeting held on the sidelines of the 28th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda. Chaired by Malta’s Chris Fearne, CMAG works to uphold democracy, human rights and the rule of law across the Commonwealth’s 56 member states.
