Midterms: Elon Musk deletes his call to vote Republican after his side’s defeat

Elon Musk deleted his “Vote red today!” post during the night of November 3–4, 2026, after Democrats retook control of Congress. He responded on X with jokes about his “space lasers of election interference” and said data centers in space seemed appealing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Musk invested at least $474 million in Republican candidates, and 18 of the candidates he backed were elected. Tesla and SpaceX shares fell in trading before markets opened on Wednesday.

Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Appointed Commonwealth CMAG Vice-Chair

Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has been appointed vice-chair of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG).
