Members of the Cocoa and Forests Initiative’s technical committee met in Abidjan on October 20, 2026, and approved priorities for 2026–2030, targeting more than CFAF 47 billion in investment. From 2022 to 2025, 214,143 hectares of forest were restored, 927,804 hectares of agroforestry systems were developed, and 33 million trees were distributed. Traceability now covers 98% of cocoa sourced directly by participating companies, while 1.12 million farms have been mapped.
