Supreme Court: Things Get Complicated for Former Minister Ismaïla Madior Fall

The urgent applications judge of the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court rejected the request of former Minister of Justice Ismaïla Madior Fall contesting the electronic bracelet. The defense, led by lawyers Ciré Clédor Ly and Cheikh Ahmadou Ndiaye, denounced arbitrary measures and exceeding the legal one-year limit. The judge maintained the electronic monitoring, ruling that no urgency justified an intervention. The constitutional exception raised by the lawyers was also dismissed.
