TCN restores electricity supply to the Ajah–Lekki 330kV transmission line

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) announced on Wednesday that electricity supply to the Ajah–Lekki 330kV transmission line had been restored at about 3:18 p.m. The company said the GIS circuit breaker at the Lekki Transmission Substation could not be closed because of pole discordance. According to TCN, the Ajah 330/132/33kV Transmission Substation lost supply at 12:40 p.m. on October 19 after a system disturbance affected the Egbin–Ajah 330kV Transmission Lines 1 and 2.
