« Il faut arrêter Sonko » : Cheikh Bara Ndiaye alerte les chefs religieux

Arouna Ndoffène Diouf, a Kiiraay party official and former ministerial adviser under Macky Sall, reportedly called for a “solution” on Ousmane Sonko and said he should be arrested during a party press conference. Deputy Cheikh Bara Ndiaye condemned the remarks, which he said targeted Sonko, identified in the report as president of the National Assembly. Ndiaye urged religious authorities and national and international public opinion to respond, arguing that political disagreement cannot justify what he viewed as intimidation or an arbitrary call for arrest.
