NYC police arrest Susan Sarandon, other celebrities protesting Netanyahu | Protests News | Al Jazeera

La police de New York a arrêté environ 100 manifestants, dont l'actrice Susan Sarandon, la gagnante d'un Emmy Hannah Einbinder, la candidate démocrate Darializa Avila Chevalier et la membre du conseil municipal de New York Chi Osse, lors d'une manifestation contre le Premier ministre israélien Benjamin Netanyahu devant l'ONU. La protestation, organisée par Jewish Voice for Peace, a rassemblé environ 200 personnes portant des T-shirts avec des slogans comme « Fund people not bombs » et « Free Palestine ». Les manifestants ont bloqué la circulation, ont été dispersés par la police et escortés vers des bus, en dénonçant la situation à Gaza et critiquant l'utilisation de la plateforme de l'ONU par Netanyahu.
