Nigeria: Dangote Announces Record 700,000 Barrels of Oil Processed Per Day During Test

The Dangote refinery, Africa's largest located in Nigeria, processed 700,000 barrels of crude oil per day during a performance test, exceeding its official capacity of 650,000 barrels. Dangote Industries plans to increase capacity to 1.4 million barrels per day within the next 30 months. Exports from the refinery have risen sharply, with about half going to other African countries, helping reduce Nigeria's reliance on imported petroleum products.
