Senegal’s education minister confirmed that parents at the Artillerie Nord and Marbatt elementary schools in Louga were asked to contribute 200 CFA francs per pupil each year to pay for printing assessment papers. MP Guy Marius Sagna raised broader questions about the funding needed to ensure free enrollment.
