FG rolls out free healthcare for pensioners earning below N70,000

The National Pension Commission, PenCom, has launched a free healthcare initiative for retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme, targeting those earning less than N70,000 monthly. The program, named PenCare, aims to improve healthcare access for low-income retirees and reduce the burden of medical expenses. Registration has commenced, and 30,000 eligible pensioners will benefit from this first phase on a first-come, first-served basis.
