A bus from Igumori Secondary School lost control and overturned near Karii Market in Mbeere North, Embu County, Kenya, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Several students were injured, at least five seriously, and were rushed to the hospital. The accident occurred when the bus skidded on a wet road, veered off, and overturned into a nearby valley. The crash comes just hours after another fatal accident on the Bungoma-Webuye road that killed five people.
