ADC Supporters Bitter Over Obi and Kwankwaso’s ‘Divorce,’ Shehu Sani Says

Former Kaduna Central senator Shehu Sani accused supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) of smearing Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso after their political split. He was responding to an ADC statement alleging that Kwankwaso backed Obi out of personal ambition and was working for President Bola Tinubu. Sani said claims that the two politicians were working for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or Tinubu stemmed from bitterness and their refusal to be used by others. He added that political parties should not act like cults that prevent members from leaving peacefully.
