Kimi Antonelli becomes youngest Formula One world champion at age 20

Kimi Antonelli clinched the Formula One world championship at 20 years and 68 days old after finishing third in the Mexico Grand Prix in his Mercedes. Max Verstappen won the race, but Antonelli became the youngest champion in the sport’s history, more than three years younger than Sebastian Vettel was when he won in 2010. Antonelli is the first Italian to take the title since Alberto Ascari in 1953.
