The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, announced the death of the 9th Vice Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, who died earlier on Saturday, June 6, 2026 after a brief illness at age 68.
