DSS intercepts arms shipment bound for bandit kingpin, nabs suspect

DSS operatives arrested a suspect in Kano transporting weapons destined for a notorious bandit leader operating in Zamfara. The seizure occurred in Gezawa Local Government Area following intelligence. Recovered items include three AK-47 rifles, four RPG tubes and warheads, and two empty magazines. The suspect confessed to being paid N450,000 for the transport and investigations continue to dismantle the network.
