Grand-Bassam: PARCNR Prepares Strategic Transformation to Strengthen Social Cohesion After 2026

On July 16-17, 2026, peace and social cohesion stakeholders in Côte d'Ivoire gathered in Grand-Bassam for a workshop on repositioning the Support Project for Strengthening National Cohesion and Reconciliation (PARCNR). Launched in 2024 by the Ministry of National Cohesion, the project revealed overlaps with other structures. Coordinator Maurice Adjé called for providing the ministry with an analysis and expertise tool. UNDP representative Magloire N'Dehi advocated for a knowledge center, while Joël Yves Kouadio reminded of the fragility of peace.
