Good governance, competent leadership only means to Nigeria's bright future - Peter Obi

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, Peter Obi, said that competent leadership and good governance are the only means to Nigeria's wealth. He spoke at a high-level roundtable discussion organized by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) in Berlin, Germany. Obi reiterated that Nigeria has all the human and natural resources needed but requires accountable and compassionate leadership that prioritizes investment in people, education, healthcare, and the rule of law. He urged a shift from consumption to production, poverty to prosperity, and division to unity.
