IFAD commits additional Sh7bn to expand Kenya livestock programme

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is set to provide Kenya with an additional Sh7.1 billion ($55 million) to help farmers increase productivity and access better markets. IFAD Country Director Matteo Marchisio announced that the executive board of the UN's specialized agency approved this additional financing for the Kenya Livestock Commercialisation Programme (KeLCoP).
