Ekiti court jails three for 97 years over kidnapping, armed robbery

An Ekiti State High Court sentenced Augustine Agbogbo, Adeniyi Olamilekan, and Ademoh Gabriel to a total of 97 years in prison for kidnapping, armed robbery, and unlawful possession of weapons. The sentences of 40, 25, and 32 years will run concurrently. Three other defendants were acquitted due to insufficient evidence. The crimes occurred at various locations in the state, including the abduction of retired naval officer Victoria Eisape, who was released after a ransom of 8 million Naira was paid.
