Kano: Blame Barau for Gawuna’s exit from APC - Idris

Hafiz Idris, a chieftain of the APC, accused Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin of being responsible for Yusuf Gawuna's defection to the African Democratic Congress. Idris stated that Barau frustrated Gawuna's chances of securing a strategic political appointment after his defeat in the 2023 gubernatorial election. He also accused Barau of plotting to block the nomination of Gawuna's former running mate, Murtala Garo, as the next Deputy Governor of Kano State.
