Kenya: Ruto Begins Europe Tour to Woo Investors, Expand Kenya Exports

Kenyan President William Ruto has begun a week-long tour of Belgium, Norway, and Finland to attract foreign investment and expand market access for Kenyan products. In Belgium, he will meet King Philippe and EU leaders to discuss implementation of the Kenya-EU Economic Partnership Agreement, which grants duty-free and quota-free access for Kenyan exports. In Norway, he will participate in the Kenya-Norway Business Forum focusing on renewable energy, electric mobility, and the blue economy. In Finland, he will attend the Kultaranta Talks, a major international foreign and security policy forum where Africa is a key pillar.
