Nigerian Navy recovers 39,500 litres of stolen crude oil in Rivers State

The Nigerian Navy, under Operation Delta Sentinel, recovered 39,500 litres of stolen crude oil from storage facilities in Bonny, Rivers State. Navy Captain Abiodun Folorunsho, Director of Information, stated that the operation was based on credible intelligence and led to the discovery of four concealed dugout pits containing the product. The illegal storage site was destroyed, and surveillance has been intensified to prevent re-establishment.
