Ohanaeze bans ‘Eze Ndigbo’ title outside Igbo land, adopts new constitution

The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has banned the conferment and use of the title ‘Eze Ndigbo’ outside Igbo land. President-General Senator Azuta Mbata announced this decision during a General Assembly in Enugu, stating that violators would face sanctions. Ohanaeze will formally communicate its position to state governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.
