Portfolio of Guarantees Pushes Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency’s Total Issuance over USD100 Billion

The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) has signed a framework agreement with AMEA Power to support a portfolio of guarantees for up to 23 renewable energy and battery storage projects. MIGA will provide guarantees of up to USD 1.48 billion, supporting approximately USD 1.65 billion in investments. This innovative framework enables a portfolio-based approach, facilitating the delivery of critical energy infrastructure needed for job creation across multiple high-growth markets.
