DRC: Seven Ebola recoveries in Rwampara bring hope to Ituri

Seven patients have left the Rwampara Ebola treatment center in Ituri after being declared cured, according to the NGO ALIMA. Among them is a 15-month-old infant, the first baby cured in this epidemic caused by the Bundibugyo strain, for which no approved vaccine or treatment exists. Dr. Modet Camara highlighted the emotion stirred by this recovery after 17 days of care.
