Recently freed by Diomaye, Mouhamed Moustapha Anne returns to Rebeuss

Mouhamed Moustapha Anne, alias 'Tapha', was released in January 2026 thanks to a presidential pardon from Diomaye. But he was arrested again for a series of burglaries in Keur Massar between June 2 and 6. Thirteen apartments were targeted, and victims reported thefts of jewelry, wigs, and cash, notably 1.7 million CFA francs from N. Sané. Tapha appeared before the Pikine-Guédiawaye flagrant offenses court and was sent back to Rebeuss prison.
