Rivers ADC plays down the political influence of Wike’s 'Rainbow Coalition' movement

The Rivers state chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has downplayed the influence of the 'Rainbow Coalition', a political movement associated with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr Nyesom Wike. The party stated that democracy thrives only through competition and that every political party has the constitutional right to seek the people's mandate. The ADC state chairman, Dr. Chukwudi Dimkpa, said the party remains focused on building a strong grassroots structure and presenting credible candidates.
