National Assembly: Abdou Mbow accuses Finance Committee of falsifying its report on the 2026 supplementary budget

2026 Supplementary Finance Bill: Alfonse Mané Samb challenges budget projections and denounces cuts to social projects

He denounced cuts to major water-transfer projects, whose funding fell from 50 billion to 8 billion CFA francs, and the removal of funding for 35 health centers and works involving 46 elementary schools and 46 middle schools. Samb also called for greater transparency on debt and the deficit and for lawmakers to receive all documents needed to review the bill.
